LASER is the most commonly used method for the treatment of Myopia, Hypermetropia and Astigmatism and in Refractive Surgery all around the world.

Who can have Laser Surgery:

• People over 18 years of age and wearing either eye glasses or contact lenses;
• People whose diopter value has not changed by more than 0,50 diopter in the last year;
• People with myopia up to -10 diopter;
• People with astigmatism up to -6 diopter and hypermetropia up to +4 diopter;
• People with sufficient thickness of corneal tissue;
• People without systematic diseases such as diabetes or rheumatism;
• People who have no other eye diseases (such as Keratoconus, Ocular Hypertension, etc.);
• People whose ocular structure is considered eligible for surgery as a result of preliminary examination and tests may undergo a laser treatment.

LASER TREATMENT

LASIK method is based on the following principle: A thin layer is cut and opened like a lid on the upper surface of cornea and diopter values are corrected by "Excimer Laser" on the surface of the resulting cornea.
